Zhouzhuang Water Town

It is situated at distance of 45 km to the southeast of Suzhou and considered as the No. 1 Water Town in China. It has history of over nine hundred years and renowned for its profound culture of Wu, unique architectural tradition and fold customs. It is having lakes on its four sides and its beauty is especially along the waterside lanes and around few stone bridges.

In the year 2003, it has been entitled as the Famous Historical and Cultural Town of China. It was also listed in the tentative list of the UNESCO world Heritage Site in the year 2004. You can visit Fuan Bridge, Former Residence of Wansan Shen, Shen’s Mansion and Hounded House.

 

Wuzhen Water Town

This town has a history of more than 1300 years and situated at the distance of 80 kilometers to the northeast of Hangzhou. It is one of the four grand ancient towns of Yangtze. It is still preserved from the time of Qing Dynasty layout and the water system. This whole town is build along rivers and the river courses crisscrossed in this town. This town is a elegant blend of culture and nature and enjoys the superb climate as well as geographical conditions. It is also the known as the place where people called the land of fish and rice. Places to visit are Old Streets of West Gate, Wenchang pagoda and Residence of Mao Dun.

Tongli Water Town 

Tangoli Water Town has a history of more than 1000 years. It is a typical water town of the Jiangsu Province. This city is separated by fifteen rivers into seven islets which are well connected by about 50 bridges. Tangoli was established in the Song Dynasty. Like the other water towns, it is build along the water.

Tangoli is well known for preserving its architectural styles of Ming and Qing Dynasty. Various old stone bridges having different shapes, bountiful rivers can be found all over the town. It has made this town a quiet, decent and picturesque water town it was also listed in the tentative list for the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the year 2004. Tuisi Garden, Gengletang Garden, Huancui Resort and Woyun Temple are few attractions in Tongli water town.

Emei Mountain

Yellow Mountain

Yellow mountain or Mt Huangshan has been formed about billion year ago and covering an area of more than thousand square kilometers. It is well known for its unique shaped pines, sea of clouds, fantastic rock peaks and hot springs. The clouds drift in and out which change the scenery in no time. There are many peaks and they are named according to their shapes, religious or historic themes. Some of the major peaks attracting tourist are the Heavenly Capital Peak, Bright Summit and Lotus Flower Peak.

 

Tai Mountain

It lies in the central Shandong Province and covers an area of approximate 500 square meters. It is regarded as one of the five China’s sacred Mountains. More than 70 Chinese emperors from various dynasties have made pilgrimage to Tai Mountain for the ceremonial and sacrificial purposes. It is also endowed with various picnic spots.  There are a lot of peaks, caves, oddly shaped rocks, streams and valleys, pools, springs and waterfall. It is also encroached with variety of flora.

 

Lu Mountain

Lu Mountain is located at the northern part of the province of Jiangxi and has history of more than sixty lack years. The scenery of the Lu Mountain scenic area is breathtaking and full of sheer precipices and peaks, changeable fogs and clouds, flying waterfalls and silver springs. It has diverse flora having about three thousand species. There are lot of fauna also thriving in this mountain.

 

 

Huangshan

Huangshan mountain range lies to the south of Anhui province of eastern China. This area is very much popular for its sunset, secenery, peculiarly-shaped peaks of granite, view of clouds and Huangshan Pine trees. Mount Huang is the frequent subject of traditional Chinese literature and painting. It is one of the major tourist attraction as well as UNESCO World Heritage site.

Yellow Mountain or Mt. Huangshan is the most famous mountain among all mountains in China. It was originally known as the Mt. Yishan and renamed as Mt. Huangshan in the year 747 AD on the name of legendary Huang Di who was a reputed ancestor of the Chinese people. It is one of the greatest symbols of china and has magnificent and abundant resources. Due to the presence of great variety of zoological species it is listed in Cultural Heritage and world natural Site.

 

Emei Mountain

Mt. Emei is situated in the Sichuan Province of Southwest China and a well not summer destination in China. It has pleasant weather, inspiring natural scenery, congenial atmosphere as well as influence of culture of Buddhist. This mountain is also characterized by the lofty ancient trees, pristine brooks, impressive waterfalls and several Buddhist temples.

This mountain is also noted for its considerable weather differences between numerous spots on the mountain. Its foot and peak has the difference of about 14 degree centigrade. It has cool pleasant in the higher and blistering at the foot. The average temperature in the month of July and August which is the hottest period of China is about 12 degree centigrade.

 

Taishan Mountain

Located in the north of Tai’an city towards the East China in the Shangdong Province, Mount Tai, is a mountain of cultural and historical significance. The meaning of the word ’tai’ is stability and peace in Chinese. It means that if this mountain is stable then the entire country will also be stable. Mount Tai has been crowned as the Jade Emperor Peak and it is belived that the jade Emperor is most powerful god of Heaven according to the Chinese mythology.

It is situated at an altitude of about 1,500 meters and leader of five sacred mountains. It is said that 72 emperors of various dynasties have made pilgrimage to this mountain. Many literary scholars and poets also have visited this hill. This hill has also played an important role for the development of Taoism and Buddhism.

The Humble Administrator’s Garden

This is an elegant classical garden situated on the waterside City of Suzhou in the Jiangsu Province of South China. It has unique design and ethereal beauty and has garnered many special honors. Lingering Garden

Lingering Garden is spread over an area of about 5.8 acres and outside Changmen Gate in Suzhou in the Jiangsu Province. It was originally a classical private garden. It is well known for the exquisite beauty of its various shape size and colors of the buildings and the magnificent halls. It is also recorded in the lost of world heritage site by UNESCO. In the Ming Dynasty, Xu Jiongging, an official from Taipu  Temple build two gardens one on the east side and other on the west side. Eastern garden named as the Lingering Garden. It was later rebuild and expanded.

The summer palace

This garden is situated in the Haidian District to the northwest of the Beijing City and located at a distance of about 15 kilometers from the central Beijing. It is one of the larges and the most well preserved Royal Park of china.
